NVIDIA Launches DSX POD AI Factory, Deployment Time Reduced to 14 Days
NVIDIA has launched the DSX POD, a complete AI factory reference design based on the Vera Rubin architecture. The factory is built by partners in modular containers, with integration and validation completed before delivery. Once the containers arrive on-site, they can be put into operation immediately by connecting to pre-prepared power, cooling, networking, and other infrastructure, reducing the deployment time from six months to as fast as 14 days. The DSX POD transfers the integration and installation of computing, networking, cabling, rack-level power, and liquid cooling to manufacturing facilities, reducing the planning, construction, specialized labor, and logistics work required for traditional on-site builds. The factory-tested containers lower the risks associated with component delays and on-site operations, shortening the path for model training and production inference, allowing customers to start generating tokens and creating revenue sooner. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that the AI factory creates value when it begins producing tokens, not when construction is completed. With the DSX POD, factory-level precision and speed are introduced into AI infrastructure construction, reducing deployment time from months to weeks, enabling customers to scale capacity faster and bring revenue-generating production online.
