Analyst Says High Brent Crude Oil Prices Affect Bitcoin Liquidity
Analyst Darkfost pointed out that Brent crude oil prices remain above $100, leading to a challenging macro environment for Bitcoin. The sustained rise in Brent crude oil prices may signal an economic slowdown, restricting market liquidity, particularly for high-risk assets like Bitcoin. In the long term, when Brent crude oil prices are above the annual average, Bitcoin's performance tends to slow down; conversely, when oil prices drop significantly, Bitcoin usually rebounds. The relationship between Bitcoin and Brent crude oil is not a simple cause-and-effect; the economic environment accompanying rising oil prices may adversely affect risk assets. In July, the market experienced a brief respite, which Bitcoin seized, but subsequently, Brent crude oil prices rebounded strongly, and the current economic conditions are unfavorable for new liquidity injections.
