Sazmining Offers Proto Hashboards at 4187 Dollars Each
Sazmining is selling individual Proto immersion hashboards for 4187 dollars each, with financing and managed hosting options. This arrangement reduces the initial hardware purchase cost but does not eliminate ongoing Bitcoin mining expenses or profitability risks. The Proto immersion hashboards are configured for approximately 204 terahashes per second, with an efficiency of about 15 joules per terahash. Customers can start with one hashboard, while a full Proto Immersion Module consists of three boards. The financing option requires an upfront payment of 1397 dollars followed by 18 monthly payments of 155 dollars at 0% interest. Additionally, a monthly hosting and maintenance fee of 153 dollars applies, covering power and operational support. These recurring charges are crucial to the overall economics, as a lower entry price does not equate to free mining. The Bitcoin earned will depend on network difficulty, rewards, uptime, fees, and BTC market price. While a hashboard may be technically efficient, it can still yield disappointing returns. This offer expands the potential audience for Block's Proto equipment and allows Sazmining to package industrial hardware into a managed service that can be purchased in smaller units. The convenience and modularity are appealing, but buyers must consider whether projected mining revenue will cover all ongoing costs.
