Sam Price Reveals Fidelity's Massive Bitcoin Purchases
According to Twitter user Sam Price, Fidelity Digital Assets has purchased 135,979 bitcoins through perpetual preferred shares since July 2025, accounting for over 0.5%. From March to May 2026 alone, Fidelity raised over $7 billion and acquired more than 95,000 bitcoins. The success of this strategy relies on the growth rate of bitcoin exceeding the cost of dividends, despite the leverage risks.
