Tom Lee: The Bull Market in Cryptocurrency Could Reach $6.3 Trillion
Tom Lee, chairman of Bitmine, believes that the current bull market in cryptocurrency could become the largest in history, surpassing all previous cycles. He highlighted four key factors contributing to this growth: asset tokenization, capital transfer between generations, accumulation of Ethereum by companies, and the connection between the crypto market and artificial intelligence. Lark Davis estimated that to realize this scenario, the market capitalization of cryptocurrency must grow from $2.7 trillion to $6.3 trillion, which represents an increase of about $3.57 trillion or 131%. As of October 11, Bitmine owned 6,028,946 Ethereum, accounting for 4.9% of the total Ethereum supply. Over the week, the company acquired 12,532 Ethereum, with a total asset value of $16.2 billion. There are 5,067,309 Ethereum in staking, which constitutes 84% of the company's reserves. The question of who will buy assets at the market peak remains key to assessing the current bull cycle.
